    Newborn lambs are arriving daily at our hilltop lambing shed. There is a good crop of healthy lambs this year, thanks to plentiful winter feed for their mothers. Please see the Meat page for updated prices and ordering information. Order forms will be available in April.

Put one beside your bed so that when you roll out of it in the morning you have something soft to land on. Individually hand washed and tanned for your cushioning pleasure. Unlike most commercial tanning operations, our fleeces are cured using no harsh acids or chemicals.We use only a combination of salts and patience. Each fleece is unique in colour, depth and feel.

  3. Fresh Chicken!

    The Shop is open this week! Wednesday through Sunday the shop will be open from 9am – 6pm.

We have whole chickens available as well as freshly cut breasts, thighs, wings, and drumsticks all ready for your barbequing pleasure. These guys are delicious and nutritious and really give out the goods in their flavour.

    Prices range from $2.00 – $17.00 per pound, depending on the cut.

    Our chicken is raised outdoors on fresh pasture and the birds eat bugs, grass shoots, and a mixture of sprouts and non-GMO grains. (None of that pesticide residue on these birds, no thankyou!)

    Last year we sold out, and we only have chicken availablersz_maxresdefault once per year, so now is a good time to stock up your freezer as well.

  4. Canada Day Weekend Sale

    Friday, Saturday and Sunday, our doors will be open from 9-6. We will have our two varieties of lamb sausage available; minty Armenian and spicy Moroccan merguez. And because they were such a hit at the last sale, we will be offering both varieties also in meatball form: add a few merguez to flavour up your pasta sauce, or pan-fry the armenian and serve with some tzatziki on the side.

    There will be a tablefull of fresh vegetables for sale as well, and we will also be taking orders for our pasture-raised chickens.

    As always you are welcome to take a stroll around the farm while you’re here. It looks like it’ll be a sunny week with a sunny week end. Perfect for taking yourself and your family on a little farm-tour.

    Friends, sausages and sunshine… what could possibly be better?


  5. Sausage Sale!

    Saturday June 11th and Sunday June 12th the meat shop will be open for business! We’ll have our fresh, homegrown, homemade sausages for sale from 9am-6pm. We have two delicious varieties, Moroccan Merguez and Minty Armenian each made with the best possible ingredients – the meat is 100% from sheep raised here on our farm, many of the herbs we grow in our garden, and the mint grows wild in our pastures – and of course it’s all made with love. We know that’s how you get really good flavour.

    We’ll also have veggies and eggs for sale, so be sure to bring lots of cash! Broccoli, peas, beets, carrots and kale are just a few of the treats we will have prepared for you. No debit or credit, sorry! See y’all soon!
